Supply Chain Specialist
Certified Origins Inc is a food company based in the US with partners throughout the world.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is our core business, and we have been importing this food excellency in the US for over 10 yrs. We are expanding our team on the east coast, to support local and international sales and keep close communications with our European teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Closely monitor inventory levels and reporting
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Plan and track shipments of final products according to customer requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries and find solutions in a timely manner
- Facilitate correspondences with suppliers and freight forwarders
- Involvement in the purchasing side of procurement
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Preparing bills and invoices
- Vendor invoice approval
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
- Aiding in ongoing cost tracking and analysis in various aspects of our supply chain
- Helping to advance our ERP system
- Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
- Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years minimum of experience in logistics and/or supply chain functions
- Ability to use ERP applications systems
- Comfortable with Excel
- Huge amount of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to use time effectively and efficiently, ability to multi-task is a must
- Demonstrated ability to set and carry out priorities effectively
- Demonstrated effective planning skills
- Knowing when to ask for help and when to work autonomously
- Willingness to wear many different hats as needed
- Will be based out of Newport News, Virginia
- Job Type: Full Time, in person
