POSITION SUMMARY
Following the direction of the shop supervisor to complete work orders in a timely and accurate manor. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly of all Certified Power Product. The main emphasis for this position is assembly; other duties may include welding, painting, general repair and maintenance of shop
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to read and interpret work orders to accurately complete the requirements
- Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings to the accurate completion of the customer requirements.
- Ability to assemble all Certified Power product
- Ability to set up and operate vertical mill, horizontal mill, drill press, cut off saw, hydraulic test stand (valves), hydraulic test stand (pump motors), plasma cutters, welding equipment
- Repair and maintain shop equipment
- Produce high quality parts and assemblies with low reject rate
- Show mutual respect for coworkers
- To complete other duties as outlined by ISO work instruction
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum High School Education-preferred Associates degree hydraulic technician
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- 2-3 years shop experience
- General knowledge of fluid power systems (hydraulic) and mechanical systems
- Valid Driver’s license
