Responsibilities
- Load and unload automotive parts from the delivery vehicle efficiently and safely.
- Drive a van or box truck to deliver parts to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Operate a pallet jack and other equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with the team regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, including handling large boxes of parts.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience operating a box truck or courier vehicle is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
