So, what will the Solutions Installation Engineer at CertiPath do?

You will work in a fast-paced environment where you will take a hands-on approach to help solve complex technical problems that span multiple areas combining software and systems. You will install, integrate and support our High Assurance Visitor Management Solution. You will have the opportunity to work on and deploy cutting edge solutions for commercial and government clients alike. What does a typical day look like for the Solutions Installation Engineer?

Although no two days will be the same, you will :

• Implement software both on premise and as a cloud hosted solution.
• Integrate our High Assurance Visitor Management Solution with Microsoft Active Directory, Certificate Authority, Exchange, SQL Server and Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and support client acceptance testing.
• Participate in client demonstrations, requirements gathering and prototyping sessions.
• Document user needs and required workflows.
• Troubleshoot deployed solutions using logs, database records, windows events and networking tools.
• Aid CertiPath’s software development team by relaying customer and personal feedback.
• Have the opportunity to assist in planning and facilitating prototyping sessions, customer demonstrations and requirements gathering meetings; perform fit gap analysis and propose implementation approaches; and provide "Best Practices” advice on using the off the shelf functionalities to meet federal high assurance security requirements.
• Perform implementation assurance and assist in customer acceptance testing.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology.
• Be an active participant in your development along your career path.
• Most of the clients you’ll spend time with are local to the DC area, but as CertiPath expands, you’ll have the opportunity to travel up to 10% of the time outside the DC area.
