POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented In-Vitro Research Associate 1 to join our dynamic Laboratory Operations team. This position plays a key role in sample inventory management and will be responsible for handling biohazardous chemicals and formulating test articles for in-vivo oncology studies within a BSL2 laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other scientists in an innovative environment, perform a variety of in-vitro techniques, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards to support internal and client research projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare buffers and solutions for preclinical and clinical test articles, performing formulation and dilution calculations.
- Handle temperature- and light-sensitive compounds and solutions (training provided).
- Perform BSL2 test article handling and quantification (e.g., Nanodrop, pH meter).
- Maintain accurate, detailed electronic study records in Revvity / Signals Notebook, ie : data entry, interpretation, and quality control (QC).
- Facilitate the accurate recording and storage of sample inventory (both electronic and physical).
- Operate and maintain designated laboratory equipment (e.g., LN2 freezer, Zebra printer).
- Time split : approximately 50% on lab tasks and 50% on data entry.
