Job Description: We are seeking a patient and serviceable Desktop Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist members of our remote workforce with computer hardware and software-related issues in Windows 11. They will also track ongoing issues and computer inventory using spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and create documentation using Microsoft Word.
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:30 AM – 7:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to remote employees via phone, email, or chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 11, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Guide users on file sharing, online security, and computer maintenance.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications.
- Maintain an elevated level of customer service and phone etiquette.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or technical support, either in person or over the phone.
- Proficiency in using Windows 11, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong understanding of file sharing, online security, computer maintenance, and software troubleshooting.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and later shifts than traditional office hours.
