Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operations, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and CNC machines, to produce high-quality parts.
- Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements and quality control.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate components according to specifications using CAD and CAM programming.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Document production processes and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a factory setting.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM programming is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
