Paralegal- Entry Level

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The Entry Level Paralegal will assist attorneys in various tasks, including legal research, document management, and case preparation.

Duties

• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and litigation efforts.
• Assist in drafting and proofreading legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Manage files using document management systems such as iManage.
• Perform data entry tasks related to case management and client information.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
• Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and preparation for hearings or trials.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to environmental and immigration issues.

Requirements

• 2 year degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
• Proficiency in EXCEL
• Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation.
• Familiarity with environmental law or immigration law is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to perform thorough legal research using various resources.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
