Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves working with various precision measuring instruments and adhering to established quality management systems, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001. The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures to maintain compliance with CGMP regulations.
Duties
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to perform accurate measurements.
- Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for detailed analysis of product specifications.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to support quality testing and validation processes.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports on findings, identifying trends or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and CGMP standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the development of quality management documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a quality technician role or similar position within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
- Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CGMP regulations is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
