Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and logic controllers.
- Conduct repairs including welding as necessary to maintain equipment functionality.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical systems and components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in processes and equipment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Proficient in electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with logic controllers is highly desirable.
- Ability to weld and perform fabrication tasks as needed.
- Effective supervisory skills to lead small teams during maintenance projects.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient tracking of maintenance tasks.
- Proficient in English for clear communication within the team and documentation purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
