CLINICAL THERAPIST
Certus Psychiatry is a leading mental health practice, with tremendous growth and a passion to better serve our patients and providers. We are seeking a compassionate and positive Mental Health Therapist LCSW or LCMH C to provide therapeutic support for patients with mental health, behavioral health issues.
The Therapist will work collaboratively with our psychiatrist and other practitioners in outpatient settings, providing plans for therapeutic interventions and appropriate follow up care, implementing treatment plans, and coordination of the treatment process with appropriate team members.
This position is full time (40hs/week).
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Recommending treatment plan and following treatment outcomes.
- Active participation in case conferences and related team based meetings
- Working with the clinical staff towards the integration of patient health with behavioral health
- Providing client education on behavioral health issues and strategies for recovery
- Healthy work balance between In Person and Telehealth
Requirements:
Has masters degree in Human Service field required (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, LCSW) and will be able to join the private insurance panels. Cognitive behavior therapy skills are required for this position.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Licensure/certification/registration in NC
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Familiarity with EMR programs
Confidence to work independently
Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients
