PATIENT COORDINATOR / RECEPTIONIST
We are seeking compassionate and positive patient coordinators with experience to provide support Care for patient with mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues. This role will work collaboratively with our psychiatrist and other practitioners in our outpatient settings in Winston Salem NC, as well as welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
These are functions of an integral part of the clinic team. The position is Full-Time.

Others Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Documentation and orders support
- Administrative duties can include answering telephones, greeting patients, checking In / Out Patients, scheduling appointments, prior authorization and filing insurance paperwork and updating medical records
- Collecting copay and other payments
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical and medication history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
- Completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
- Provide clerical support and any other projects that the office manager may assign.
- High school diploma or higher
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
- Confidence to work independently.
- Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients.
- Experience: One year of experience required
- Additional skills required: Good working knowledge of computers, familiarity with EMR programs. Ability to care for behavioral health age specific populations.
