Data Scientist – TS/SCI
DC / NOVA (Remote with SCIF site visits)
220-230k Base Salary Excellent Benefits
Our client, a 100 staff, Series C Deep Learning SaaS startup is seeking a Data Scientist with TS/SCI Clearance to deliver best-in-class Predictive Maintenance solutions to the Department of Defense.
You will be remote first, but will need to be available to travel to SCIFs in and around the DC Metro / NOVA when required.
Data Scientist responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy models
- Work directly with DoD data, guiding projects from ideation to implementation
- Integrate with big data frameworks (Databricks, Spark, etc.) to optimize performance
Data Scientist requirements:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is a pre-requisite for the role
- Located in DC/Northern Virginia with availability for travel to local SCIFs
- BS in Computer Science
- 3 years of Python data science stack
- Experience with time series modeling
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Big data tools (Spark, Dask, Snowpark, Kafka)
- Task schedulers (Celery, Airflow, Prefect) & web frameworks (Flask, Django)
