The Role
Our Program Analytics and Technology team is committed to delivering innovative solutions and an exceptional service. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Controls Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project databases, developing and managing Power BI reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project data. This role is critical in providing actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Controls Manager in the development of Monthly Capital Program Reports, ensuring accurate project data.
- Maintain the Project Controls Library within the PFCM system.
- Maintain Project Portfolio Database to reflect current data provided by Project Coordinators and Managers,
- Develop, manage, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards to provide real-time project insights.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure reports meet their needs.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of project reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and two (2) years of project data and reporting experience; or in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma and five (5) years of project data and reporting experience.
- Must be highly proficient in Power BI, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint and have experience developing reports from financial and project systems. Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and dashboard creation, and advanced Excel skills for reporting and financial analysis
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI and dashboards
- Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Perform additional project control-related duties as required.
Work Environment:
This position may involve both office-based work and site visits to project locations, requiring occasional travel to oversee project progress and resolve on-site issues.
