Civil Engineer / Designer Job Description : CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking a Civil Engineer / Designer, with (4) years or more of applicable experience, to join our growing Charlotte, NC / Columbia, SC team. Job Responsibilities : - Perform site / civil design and drafting functions for commercial and residential land development and / or public infrastructure projects. - Work in collaboration with a civil project engineer and a multi-disciplinary team throughout the project cycle, from planning, through design development, preparation of construction plans and construction administration. - Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce a myriad of Civil Engineering plans, including surface creation, layout and modeling of storm drainage and sanitary sewer systems, and development of plan and profile horizontal and vertical alignments. - Design support and preparation of drawings. - Occasional travel to client or project sites. - Coordination with the work of others. Requirements : - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required. - E.I.T. Certification or Professional Engineering Licenses is preferred. - Familiarity with civil engineering principles, including site design, grading, drainage, and utility systems. - AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is required. - High level of self-motivation and initiative. - Good interpersonal skills, and well-developed oral and written communication skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work. - Ability to effectively interface with other project team members.
