What are the responsibilities and job description for the VA Compliance Inspector position at CES, LLC?
CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented Law Enforcement/Peace Officers to assist Underage Purchasers in performing non-confrontational compliance checks for the FDA CTP Tobacco Compliance Inspection Program to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted. The inspection is used to establish a retailer’s compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual’s schedule.

- Travel with an Underage Purchaser; identify and verify site address provided
- Facilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage Purchasers
- Collect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco products
- Complete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicable
- Must be a current law enforcement official OR employed by the local, county, state government in a health/safety field.

- Personal computer/laptop with high speed internet access
- Ability to complete & scan PDF documents.
- All Compliance Inspectors will complete a training session
- Must be able to undergo a security clearance background check and become credentialed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
