Job Description :
CES Power is seeking to expand its team by adding a motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support its growth and operational excellence. This individual will interface with individuals across the organization, including senior management and contribute to the company's success by driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The role offers the ability to help analyze and drive high-level strategic initiatives and the opportunity to work closely with management and stakeholders to support decision-making and optimize financial performance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare detailed regular and ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Prepare and publish individual job-level P&Ls to assess margins and profitability.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of CES Power's business units and initiatives.
- Manage the preparation of the monthly business performance review packages.
- Partner with operations and sales teams to establish financial metrics and KPIs for performance evaluation and regularly publish operational dashboards.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform financial planning and strategic decisions.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of operating and financial processes as well as improve systems-based efficiency and accuracy.
- Actively participate in regular meetings and cross-functional engagement with accounting, sales, operations, and other departments across all business units.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA or CPA preferred)Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role, preferably within investment banking or management consulting.Exposure to and a passion for energy, rental, live events, or other professional services related industries.Strong command of accounting principles and an understanding of how information flows through accounting systems.Deep understanding of financial statements and disclosures, including how the three basic financial statements interrelate.Experience accessing data from various software applications.Proven experience constructing robust and flexible financial models.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.Must be comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for presenting financial insights to diverse audiences.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.A track record of contributing to successful team outcomes and organizational growth.Exceptional interpersonal skills, team player and teammate, often sought after to join teams or as the “go-to” person for answers to questions.Demonstrates high ethical standards and consistently seen as trustworthy.Disciplined and humble.
