What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generator Technician position at CES Power?
Essential Job Duties/Functions:
· Performs PM’s and oil changes.
· Conducts intermediate to Advance Electrical repair and diagnoses cause of failures.
· Completes basic coolant repairs (thermostat, water pump, hoses, fittings, radiator, etc.)
· Conducts basic starting/charging (batteries, alternators, starters, etc.) and diagnostics.
· Completes basic engine repair (belts, tensioners, pulleys).
· Maintains cleanliness of shop and keeps free of clutter
· Ensure all service equipment is in good working order, clean, and properly repaired when needed.
· Ensures all parts are properly put away
· Completes work orders by providing the necessary repair information, labor performed, parts used, and any other information.
· Practices and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
· Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
