The primary goal of the Project Coordinator is to provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) projects. This role is responsible for maintaining organized workflows, tracking project progress, supporting regulatory compliance efforts, and facilitating clear communication among stakeholders.
Position Qualifications:
A. Education, Training, Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-3 years’ experience in project coordination, support or similar administrative role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with EHS topics like OSHA, hazardous materials, or environmental compliance is a plus, but not required

C. Related Position Requirements

Performance Responsibilities:
- Help plan and track EHS projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communication between stakeholders
- Keep detailed records of tasks, reports, contracts, and other documentation
- Assist with project procurement and contracting
- Monitor subcontracts to ensure obligations are met
- Support the team with field logistics, equipment inventory, and shipping
- Monitor project budgets and help with basic reporting or invoicing
- Schedule team meetings, take meeting notes, and follow up on action items
- Support managers and field staff in administrative and logistical tasks
- Distribute customer-facing documentation and correspondence
- Work with team members to build and improve upon existing processes and tools
- Coordinate semi-annual EHS trainings
- Conduct quality control testing on databases, documentation, and project deliverables
- Provide general support to EHS customers regarding billing, reporting, trainings, software services, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
