What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Head Start Home Visitor position at CESA 11 Head Start?

CESA 11 Head Start offers a variety of programs serving Pregnant women, children 0-3yrs old in a home based setting and 3 & 4yo center based programming. This is a full time 40hours/235 day/yr. position.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly home visits to families of infants and toddlers enrolled in Early Head Start. You will team with local community resources to work with families to plan and facilitate weekly visits and also work with fellow team members to provide socialization experiences 2 times per month as well as a variety of parent education experience.
Collaborate with families to plan, prepare and implement weekly developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children that support their development in several domains including, Social Emotional, Language and Literacy, Cognition and Physical Development.
Establish mutually respectful partnerships with families to assist them in reaching their goals, assist in ensuring health and dental follow-up and referrals take place and support families in crisis to ensure they are referred for needed resources.
Professionally represent the agency within the community and act as an advocate for Head Start families. Act as a liaison between families and Early Intervention/Community agencies.
Wage Rate:
Associates: $21.50/hour
Bachelor's: $22.75/hour
Candidate Qualifications:
A minimum of a home based CDA credential or equivalent coursework as part of an Associates or Bachelor's Degree; Bachelors Degree Preferred
Bachelors degree in Human Development, Human Services, Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Family Studies OR a two-year Associate degree in Early Childhood or Human Services.
Demonstrate the ability to implement home-based learning experiences that align with our home visiting curriculum.
Ability to work well with diverse families as well as with your center team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of the families and our program as required.
A valid drivers license is required.
Hours: 40 hours/week, 235 days/year.
