What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Superintendent position at Cesar Chavez Foundation?
The Project Superintendent will manage new construction for the General Contractor by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the day to day work taking place
- Scheduling all work
- Responsible for setting up all inspections as it relates to the construction
- Communicating daily with all the subcontractors
- F.I process
- Managing all in house labor
- Daily reports on project progress
- Responsible for as-built as the project progresses
- File and industry standard project paperwork
- Tracking T&M work when approved by the director of construction
- Working with the project architect and engineers when needed.
- Working with city inspectors and special inspectors.
