POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager is a key leadership role at Beautiful Blooms, responsible for providing effective leadership to the sales team, participating in consultations, leading projects, and supervising all functions in Sales. The Sales Manager sets the tone of the sales team by reviewing contracts, approving special order requests, and ensuring that the sales team is properly prepared to fulfill, meet, and exceed the client's desired outcome. The Sales Manager will have an excellent understanding of the sales pipeline and offer support and guidance to the team members.

The Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating and working closely with management, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to guarantee standards of excellence are adhered to and goals are tracked. The Sales Manager will drive the company to continual training development and uphold the fluency of all Cescaphe policies and procedures and is current with the handbook guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership-

• Interacts with all employees to develop high teamwork, productivity, and morale; resolves conflicts constructively and professionally.
• Responds to employee needs, requests, and concerns in a timely manner and with demonstrated fairness.
• Motivates others to increase performance and learning.
• Responsible for enforcing deadlines and providing support and guidance when necessary.
• Supervise staff to maximize efficiency.
• Stay current on industry changes and trends.

Operational-

• Develop plans and strategies for meeting and exceeding the company's sales goals.
• Setting individual sales goals for the sales team, tracking sales goals, and assisting with adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Responsible for managing the sales pipeline both for Event Specialists and Event Designers.
• Responsible for understanding and ensuring all proposals, recipes, pull sheets, and delivery information are submitted for interdepartmental handoffs.
• Works closely and can communicate effectively with all the departments, production, logistics, and warehouse.
• Staying current on industry news, products, trends, and competitors.
• Manage reporting of the sales metrics and KPI's, adjusting strategy based on the collected data.

Development-

• Identify and develop internal talent.
• Responsible for participating in interviewing and onboarding of new hires as needed for sales.
• Ongoing interest and passion for innovation for self-development.
• Take advantage of all available resources to improve productivity levels of service.
• Additional tasks as required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred OR equivalent combination of education or experience
• Two (2) years of industry experience
• 5 years of Management experience
