Summary
We seek a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Cescaphe Event Group. In this role, you will assist in menu planning and food preparation for high-end events, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence. Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste and optimize supply usage.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the banquet team to coordinate food service for events.
- Train new kitchen staff on procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and acceptable dining standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience in menu planning and inventory control is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications
- Education: Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Certificates/Licenses: Servesafe Certification within 90 days of hire
- Work Experience: At least Four years of related experience and training
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs and freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
