Job Description
- This individual is responsible for ensuring the overall adherence to the quality system ? including the nonconformance area, quality reports, and data control. This individual will also be responsible for sampling of finished product and work in process to determine that quality requirements have been met. This involves examining in process material for possible problems, running functional tests on finished product, communicating with production associates about problems, working on correction methods to prevent reoccurrence.
- This person must be a team player and a goal oriented achiever capable of assisting in a fast paced, work environment. Qualified applicants will have good communications skills (both written and verbal), ability to keep good records, knowledge of sampling plans, ability to read blue prints, use of measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers etc.) They should also have computer experience, specifically : Office Excel software and basic mathematical aptitude. This person must be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision. Must be willing and able to work overtime. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive metal stamping and / or welding would be a plus.
