CT Technologist
Location : VA New York Harbor Healthcare System (Manhattan, Brooklyn, and St. Albans)
Position Overview : Join our dynamic medical imaging team performing advanced CT procedures for our nation's veterans. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic CT scans including cardiac CT and interventional procedures
- Operate 320 / 64 slice CT scanners with expertise
- Administer and monitor contrast media
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team
- Assist in emergency / trauma situations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications :
Schedule & Tours of Duty : These positions require rotating shifts that include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The three standard shifts are :
