Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Execute specialized mammographic views
- Conduct quality control procedures
- Maintain MQSA compliance
- Process and review image quality
- Assist with patient education
- Coordinate with radiologists
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Perform implant displacement views when needed
- Assist with stereotactic procedures
- ARRT certification (R)
- Advanced ARRT certification in Mammography (M)
- Current MQSA qualification
- Current state licensure
- BLS certification
- Digital mammography experience
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- 3 years mammography experience
- Experience with tomosynthesis
- Breast ultrasound experience
- Prior women's imaging center experience
- Patient education background
- Experience with stereotactic procedures
- Morning Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- Evening Shift: 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM
- Shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break
- Position requires flexibility to work any of the three shifts as scheduled
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- Call coverage may be required based on department needs
- Schedule is posted two weeks in advance
- Must be able to report to any of the three VA facilities as needed:
- Manhattan Campus
- Brooklyn Campus
- St. Albans Community Living Center
