Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is currently seeking a Senior Advisor Marketing Specialist to execute and manage data-driven strategic marketing programs to ensure profitability and growth across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for building and enhancing programs, tools, and resources to generate leads, improve client experience, and increase retention.
What you will do:
- Support the Marketing Director in establishing and evaluating the advisor growth marketing strategy and plan, program execution, measuring performance, and iterating programs, as necessary, to meet growth goals for both the enterprise level and the Branches & Institutions Channel.
- Assist in managing GrowthLine program projects, as identified by the Marketing Director, from end-to-end facilitation and consultative approach, working alongside key agency partners to execute.
- Communicate objectives and timelines to cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, etc., while providing instructions for promotion or use.
- Understand digital marketing best practices, utilize these in day-to-day program management, and bring new solutions and ideas to the team.
- Lead consultation reviews of digital presence audits to provide guidance on recommended action items across SEO, website, and social media, as well as overall marketing strategy.
- Build creative briefs and articulate deliverables to ensure they deliver against defined marketing strategies and plans. Provide timely, thoughtful, and actionable feedback that inspires great work.
- Work hand in hand with marketing peers, your leader, and business stakeholders to ensure all projects are delivering on strategy and are executed flawlessly.
- For various marketing lead gen programs, work with marketing team to evolve program, development of advisor-facing collateral and support compliance approval process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, assigned business owners, and other functions across the enterprise, as needed, or requested by Marketing Director.
- Manage and/or liaise with key agencies as needed or requested.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, trainings, and platform demos to various audiences, as needed.
- Support content uploads into MarketingCentral platform and auditing as necessary to ensure an optimized experience for all users.
- Create cross-channel content specific to the Branches & Institutions channel to help drive strategic priorities.
- Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks in accordance with business needs to ensure timely execution.
- Lead ad hoc projects and initiatives that bring about change or improve the business, as requested.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support and collaborate across the marketing team to carry out corporate marketing strategy and plan and deliver on time and on budget.
- Assist in rollout, transition, or migration to new tech solutions, specifically to help with same-store sales growth.
- Become a power user in Cetera tools and tech, including Growth360 platform, Salesforce, MarketingCentral, and others. Bring new tools and suggestions to improve efficiencies.
- Ensure accurate understanding of advisor and client needs. Seek feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure follow-up to confirm that problems are solved. Continually search for ways to improve customer service (including the removal of barriers and providing solutions).
- Provide ongoing and ad hoc reporting on program and campaign performance, as needed.
- Stay up to date on the latest best practices in direct and digital marketing capabilities, campaign management, consumer behavior, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
What you need to have:
- A four-year college degree in Marketing and/or Business or the equivalent combination of education and 3 years of experience is required, with 5 preferred
- An understanding of 1:1 and broad digital marketing tactics, tools, channels, and processes.
- Understanding of digital landscape and best practices, including email, social media, SEO, and website.
- Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail and quality of work.
- Follow through on commitments, meeting and exceeding targets and deadlines.
- Comfortable presenting to groups and providing customer service and/or consultations in a one-on-one environment.
- Attention to detail, fast learner, collaborative team player with a bias to action.
- Self-motivated and self-directed with good time management skills.
- Must be flexible with the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities or project scope.
- Self-starter, energetic, positive, team leader.
What is nice to have:
- Experience in digital marketing, campaign performance, presentations/training, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with using free design tools like Canva would be well-received.
- Knowledge of wealth management and the financial institution's space is preferred.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
