Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of a Financial Advisor, supporting and collaborating with existing financial advisors in meeting client needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including administrative activities such as opening new accounts and performing account maintenance, managing a book of clients, and making recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Place trades (buy/sell) and complete necessary documentation to handle trade processing.
- Meet with clients to review new business documents, obtain signatures, and establish online access.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities, including referrals to other bank representatives through customer profiling and needs-based selling.
- Contact clients regarding account changes.
- Assist with answering phone calls or delegating faxes to appropriate staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience in the financial services industry.
- Series 7 or 6 registrations preferred.
- Experience utilizing a Contact Management System (CRM).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent people skills, with a strong ability to interact with clients.
- Able to work independently with good problem-solving and time management skills.
