Job Description:

Cetronia Ambulance Corps is seeking reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team as full-time Paratransit Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to individuals requiring specialized assistance. Your dedication and commitment will help ensure that our community members receive the care and support they need to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate paratransit vehicles to transport passengers to and from their destinations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Follow scheduled routes and timetables, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including passenger information and mileage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any passenger concerns or questions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate transportation services.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges, including operating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $15.25 per hour
