What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Air Product Development Manager position at CEVA Logistics?
YOUR ROLE
Airfreight Trade Development (ATD) is responsible in delivering consistent best in class product offering for CEVA, in line with the Global Airfreight strategy, focusing on market share growth, network operations, carrier procurement excellence and profitability with strong customer engagement to deliver the Air Freight budget.
Key area’s :
- Global Air RFQ’s
- Strategic Trade Lane development
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Drive the agreed strategy for globally focused strategic customers, customer segments, sectors, and trade lanes.
- Strategize and deliver solutions and pricing through the GTM organization for global and regional bids.
- Act as the extended arm of Global Air Product into the regions.
- Align with various BD segments (Century, Elite, etc.) to support the strategic growth plan.
- Support the design, development, and delivery of new product solutions to specific sectors and markets, and own specific Tier 1 trade lanes from an Air Product perspective to achieve the target for the year.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree / masters or equivalent in a related discipline
- Senior experience ( 7 years minimum) in commercial and operational roles in Air Freight business (Product/Commercial BD/Tender Management). Global and regional knowledge of the Freight market.
- Strong external and internal networks.
- Experience of operating in a global, matrix business environment.
- Strong commercial mindset and good product knowledge.
- Excellent analytical skills & negotiation experience
- Understanding of the network and business of Air freight worldwide
Desirable
- Previous trade lane management experience in top tier of global LSP’s
- P&L experience useful
