YOUR ROLE
Are you passionate about warehouse logistics and organization? Do you enjoy working in a clean and efficient warehouse environment? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to execute essential manual duties and contribute to delivering results in a safe and efficient manner.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Manage material organization by moving materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials, tools equipment, and products within assigned area.
- Potential opportunity to be trained in the use of heavy equipment such as forklift in preparation for certification as required to move to a Freight Handler.
- Monitor area cleanliness by ensuring floors are swept, dock area is clean and maintaining general good hygiene of entire work area.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets / shelves, move orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Assist in receiving cargo by removing from truck by hand or using manual equipment such as a hand truck or pallet jack or similar manual hand tools.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
