We offer integrated refrigerated logistics and distribution services for refrigerated foods. CF Cold Storage offers customized dedicated transportation solutions to our customers.

We are the leading public and dedicated refrigerated warehouse in New England. We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Manager to handle daily operations of a multi shift and multi customer warehouse, including inventory control, shipping and receiving and cross dock operations. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our clients. A proven track record of leadership and employee development is required.

Warehouse Manager Job Duties:

• Manages receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory accuracy by conducting physical counts; reconciling with warehouse management system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an profitability analysis; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Directly responsible for team building and a positive work environment.
• Compliance with all OSHA and FDA regulations as it applies to warehouse operations and the handling and storage of food products.

Warehouse Manager Skills and Qualifications:

• Five years of a similar management position
• Developing Budgets and Profitability Analysis
• Safety Management including HAACP, GMP, PCQI
• Developing Standards,
• Develop Work Processes and Procedures
• Direct & Maintain Inventory Control Skills
• Equipment Maintenance
• Strong Work Ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
