What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Laboratory Analyst position at CF Environmental Laboratory?
We are in need of a laboratory analyst. Candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma with biology or chemistry classes. The Preferred candidate will have a degree in a science related field. We would consider a student that is graduating this spring and can work part time until after graduation.
- Perform tests on drinking water, wastewater, biosolids, soil

- Must be able to multitask
- Able to finish daily work. May require staying past closing time to completed tasks.

- Ability to work rotating weekends - approximately 8-10 per year
- Maintaining lab equipment, consumable inventory, and workspace
- Preparation and analysis of samples and reagents
- Documenting work and maintaining bench books for sample prep and analysis
- Ensuring all hold times are met for job duties
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Work hours are Monday-Friday with rotating weekends, and holiday work as needed. Some flexibility with daily work hours.
