CF Industries has many exciting and challenging opportunities at its world class production facility in Yazoo City Mississippi. The Training Coordinator reports to the Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety and is responsible for the site’s Learning Management System (LMS). Duties include facilitating EHS Annual Regulatory training, site specific content, onboarding of new hires, and supporting Corporate Training initiatives including generating reports, trouble-shooting the LMS, and participating in audits where training records are requested. The Training Coordinator may also aid in identifying individual training requirements of employees in collaboration with Supervisors and Managers. This may include locating vendors or online training resources. Additionally, this role helps ensure scheduled training is being completed as required.Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Site Administrator for the LMS & Content Developer for the site using Articulate/Storyline application.
- Provide New Hire Safety Orientation and other onboarding duties for new employees.
- Participate in Workday Learn Admin group meetings and collaborate with other LMS Admins
- Build courses/lessons in the LMS to ensure compliance with OSHA Safety Training and CF EHS standards.
- Facilitate and record Instructor Led Training for site including EHS Safety topics, Mobile Equipment Training, Emergency Response Training, policy updates, etc.
- Source training solutions to address gaps in the training process when required.
- Collaborate with Supervisors and Managers to ensure training is effective and well targeted.
- Provide oversite of operator certification and refresher training (PSM Element 005).
- Understand and comply with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies. Additionally offers recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and Update documents, spreadsheets, tracking sheets, reports, electronic bulletin board, and presentations when requested
- Provide administrative support for the EHS and EHS/laboratory staff as requested
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work, plan and make decisions (problem solving) at one’s own with minimal supervision are required.
SUCCESSFUL INCUMBENTS WILL HAVE:
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
•A.S. degree preferred
•Background and/or experience in learning development and Learning Management Systems
•Proficiency with computer software programs and applications such as Microsoft Office Suite Power Point, Word and Excel or similar programs
•A valid driver’s license is required
