About the role:
The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist position is responsible for commercial loan processing and servicing and various administrative duties in support of the Commercial lending line of business. This is a highly leveraged position with both daily task-related responsibility and internal and external customer service responsibility, tapping into technical capability and soft skills.
What youll do:
- Scans, files, and refile documents in the file room and imaging system.
- Escalates questionable transactions and recurring issues to management in a clear and timely manner.
- Research payment issues and discrepancies.
- Research and process un-posted items.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the commercial team and other involved parties.
- Comply with internal security policies and procedures and maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to all regulations, policies, and record-keeping requirements. Complete all required training related to bank regulations and policies.
- Accept other responsibilities and projects as requested to add value for CFBank.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of loan operations and customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Basic familiarity with commercial lending is preferred.
- Experience with SBA, Sub-Debt, SWAP, and Participation loans.
- Experience with booking new, renewed, and modifications.
- Experience with processing releases along with payoffs.
- Experience with reconciling commercial GLs.
