Material Inspector

CFC Recycling is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nonferrous Material Processor to join our dynamic team. The Nonferrous Material Processor will play a crucial role in our recycling operations, responsible for the efficient processing of nonferrous materials to meet quality and production standards at our recycling facility in Tullahoma,Tn.

Responsibilities:

2. CFC Recycling is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nonferrous Material Processor to join our dynamic team. The Nonferrous Material Processor will play a crucial role in our recycling operations, responsible for the efficient processing of nonferrous materials to meet quality and production standards at our recycling facility in Tullahoma,Tn. Sort, segregate, and process nonferrous materials such as aluminum, copper, brass, and other valuable metals. 
   
3. Inspect incoming materials for quality, contamination, and adherence to specifications.
4. You will need to be able to assist customers and inspect all materials to determine what they are bringing in
5. This is a labor position that will require you to be on your feet and to be able to move around often.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
7. Collaborate with team members to optimize processing procedures and achieve production targets.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
9. Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as needed
10. Ability to stand,bend,twist for long periods of time. This is not a sit down type job 
11. Ability to work in various weather conditions. 
12. Typical work hours are 8am - 4:30pm M-F  and able to work some Saturdays from 8am-11:30am

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
2. Proven experience in nonferrous material processing or similar industrial environment preferred.
3. Ability read,write and do basic math
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify different types of materials accurately.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and quality assurance.
7. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
8. Prior forklift experience helpful
   
9. Clean background and Employment drug screen required
