CFCU Community Credit Union (CFCU) is seeking a reliable full-time Lead Commercial Cleaner to help maintain positive building aesthetics for the Credit Union. This individual will ensure locations are cleanly and properly disinfected with member and employee’s health as a main concern. This role is a second shift opportunity, and the hours are 5:00 pm – 1:30 am with partial weekends.
Requirements
& Responsibilities:
- Supervises the activities of Commercial Cleaner(s) to ensure their performance meets the expectations of the Credit Union.
- Utilize an established cleaning checklist to perform all tasks to the Credit Union’s established standards. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
o Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, drinking fountain, etc. in restrooms, break rooms and/or kitchenettes.
o Sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub all facility floors
o Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas
o Clean glass windows and entrance doors of each facility
o Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, walls, etc.
o Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and kitchens
o Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles after each use
o Participate in special project assignments as required, such as carpet cleaning and outside window cleaning
- Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures. Identify safety, security, or maintenance issues /concerns and communicate them to the Physical Operations Manager or AVP of Business Resiliency in a timely manner.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Commercial cleaning experience required. Previous supervisory or management experience of commercial cleaners preferred.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Maintain a valid NYS driver’s license.
- Self-motivation, good interpersonal and time management skills.
- Knowledgeable about commercial cleaning procedures and protocols.
- Physical demands include walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing and/or pulling objects for cleaning duties. Demands may also include carrying a 20-pound vacuum.
- Travel to/from Credit Union locations.
