What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at CFD Research Corporation?
CFD Research is currently looking to hire a full-time Accountant to work in our Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
- Support monthly invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable
- Set up Vendor and Customers
- Reviewing and assisting with travel and expense reports
- Assist in purchasing process
- Assist in various financial and accounting audits
- Daily cash receipt and credit card entry
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1 years of experience working in an accounting role
- Advanced knowledge of Excel along with good working knowledge of all other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong accounting and financial skills
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Accounting or Business
- Experience with Unanet, Concur, and ADP
- Knowledge of FAR & DFAR supplements
- Preference for government contracting experience
- CPA or CMA
Location: This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area, and is 100% onsite.
