- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA standards.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Process patient information, including insurance verification and managed care requirements.
- Assist with coding procedures using ICD-9 and ICD-10 as necessary.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and readily available.
Qualifications
