This role focuses on building and nurturing banking and other Capital relationships within smaller and middle markets, particularly in multifamily, healthcare, commercial, and accounts receivable lending. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with small to mid-tier banks and financial institutions, primarily within the small to middle-market segment.
- Proactively source and close syndication opportunities, bringing your own network of contacts to expand CFG Bank’s reach.
- Represent CFG Bank in multifamily, healthcare, commercial, and AR loan syndications, driving business development efforts with a sharp focus on the East Coast market.
- Work closely with internal teams, including credit, underwriting, and portfolio management, to structure deals that align with client needs and institutional goals.
- Develop and execute creative sales strategies to exceed performance targets and build a robust syndication pipeline.
- Deliver compelling presentations to potential partners and stakeholders, showcasing CFG Bank’s competitive edge in the market.
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth, ensuring CFG Bank stays ahead of the curve.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, market insights, and potential deal opportunities.
- 5-10 years of direct experience in loan syndications, relationship management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong banking relationships and closing high-value deals.
- Deep knowledge of multifamily, healthcare, and accounts receivable lending markets.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a knack for turning prospects into partners.
- A driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure and exceed targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
