The Position:
We are seeking a full-time bilingual Clinical Therapist to provide mental health services to children, adolescents and their families at our North Hills Wellness Center location. North Hills Wellness Center (NHWC) is a collaboration between Child and Family Guidance Center, Valley Community Health Care, and LAUSD to provide integrated health care to the students at Monroe High School and the North Hills community.
What You’ll Do
- Conducts intakes, provides individual, group and family therapy services in office, school and community-based settings. Service includes initial clinical assessments, diagnosis, clinical treatment planning and implementation, referral and termination.
- Conducts warm hand offs with Valley Community Healthcare, which would involve consulting with medical providers, assessing children/adolescents/adults, and providing linkage for ongoing care.
- Coordinates with staff at Monroe High School about mental health referrals and subsequent clients, and promote mental health awareness through various school-wide events.
- Handles emergencies as needed, including outside of normal work hours.
- Conducts parent education programs and family support groups.
- Collaborates and consults with psychiatrists, case managers, facilitators, parent partners and other professionals working collaboratively to ensure comprehensive whole person care.
- Maintains clinical charts and completes program paperwork.
- Meets expected billable hours as assigned by Supervisor.
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours), one evening per week until 8:00pm and Saturday's are required (Sunday and one weekday off)
- This position is fully onsite for the first four months. Hybrid work options are available after successful completion of four months of employment

Starting Salary:
- A.M.F.T., A.C.S.W., and A.P.C.C. $68,500
- L.M.F.T., L.C.S.W., and L.P.C.C. $70,500 - $75,500
- Waivered Psychologist: $76,500
- Licensed Psychologist: $78,500 - $84,500
- Additional years of experience will be considered as well
- $3,000 differential available for bilingual Spanish-English proficiency (must pass Spanish Proficiency Assessment to qualify)
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Relevant experience working with children and families.
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based child and family interventions relevant to families served in the community mental health settings.
- Ability to develop reasonable, appropriate treatment plans and clinical programs to meet the needs of the clients.
- Ph.D., Psy.D., MSW, or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy or professional clinical counseling. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Science.
