The Position:
We are seeking are seeking motivated, qualified applicants for our post-doctoral residency program. The post-doctoral residency is a full year (September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026), full-time (40-hours per week) program. What You’ll Do:
- Conducts intakes, individual, group, and family therapy.
- Conducts psychological evaluations.
- Maintains the necessary community/professional contacts, prepares necessary documents in a timely manner to advance treatment progress as indicated.
- Participates in in-service training, administrative and supervisory meetings, as needed.
- Maintains clinical charts and completes all necessary administrative paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Receives clinical supervision as appropriate to the level of experience.
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours). Monday – Friday. Two to three evenings per week and some on-call responsibilities are required.
- Hybrid work option available.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- At least one-year specialized experience in child psychotherapy.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time effectively.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to get along with others in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Must be able to work as a team player, in a teamwork environment.
- Must be enthusiastically committed to the overall well-being of the department and the objectives of the Center.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D in psychology or Ed.D. program
