CFIP's investment strategies focus predominantly on high-yield credit instruments and products, including broadly syndicated loans and securitizations. CFIP is excited to welcome a new member to the team. The Investor Relations Analyst/Associate will support our investor relations efforts by assisting in managing relationships with existing and potential investors. This position involves contributing to the development and execution of investor communications and strategies to enhance investor engagement and meet our Firm's objectives. As part of a relatively small and rapidly growing firm, this position offers visibility to senior management and the opportunity to learn and grow within the organization.

Position Summary:


The primary responsibilities of the Investor Relations Analyst/Associate include, but are not limited to:


  • Supporting Senior IR Staff: Assisting senior IR team members with various tasks and projects as necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that all investor communications comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Understand core compliance requirements.
  • Internal Collaboration: Working with other departments [such as finance, operations, legal, and marketing] to gather and disseminate relevant information.
  • Building Relationships: Developing strong relationships with investors and other stakeholders is a key part of the role. Prospecting for new relationships will also be critical.
  • Communication: Preparing reports, drafting investor letters, developing/maintaining investor presentations, and handling inquiries. Other communication includes generating/updating Due Diligence Questionnaires and RFP’s.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing basic financial data and market trends to provide insights to investors.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date investor data and records, generating regular reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making and investor communications.
  • Market Intelligence Gathering: Gathering and analyzing market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks that could impact investor relations strategies and the firm's positioning.
  • Feedback Loop Creation: Creating a feedback loop with investors to gather insights and suggestions, which can be used to improve investor relations practices and address investor concerns proactively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, compliance, operations, and product development, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the firm's overall objectives.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Committing to continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in investor relations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in finance, accounting, business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in Investor Relations, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
  • Financial Acumen: An understanding of financial principles, accounting, and financial analysis is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze basic financial data and market trends.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy is important when preparing financial documents and reports.
  • Professionalism: Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
  • Confidence: Confidence in presenting information and handling investor queries.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and firm needs.


Compensation:

  • Base salary discretionary bonus, contingent on experience
  • Benefits 401(k)
