What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager/Leasing Manager position at CFI Property Management?
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of the leasing process, from marketing and advertising to tenant screening and lease signing.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about the property, including rental rates, lease terms, and amenities.
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income and employment information.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages.
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, including tenant information, rental payments, and maintenance requests.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing or property management.
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and compliance is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues with tenants.
- Familiarity with property maintenance and facilities management.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience in upselling additional services or amenities to tenants.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms.
