JOB TITLE: Outside Client Advisor
DEPARTMENT: Implement Dealer
REPORTS TO: Sales Director
EFFECTIVE DATE: ASAP
SUMMARY: Increasing and maintaining our interactions with key contacts within implement dealers; via F2F, phone, web, email, and other social selling tools.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OUTSIDE SALES:
- Performs proactive sales calls in your assigned territories.
- Emphasizes salable customer benefits, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Makes proactive lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current and new customers into the computer database and/or CRM.
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
- Coordinates and/or facilitates customer training and presentations.
- Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
- Create efficient travel plans to utilize and maximize your time.
- Complete expense and personal mileage reports and turn into management in a timely fashion.
- Understands customer needs and requirements.
- Researches accounts, identifies key players and generates interest.
- Enters sales orders and maintains fulfillment dates of sales orders to insure timely deliveries to our customers.
- Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts.
- Gains and retains extensive product selection application knowledge as well as a detailed comprehension of customer's requirements.
- Provides insights of changes happening in the marketplace to purchasing and marketing teams as needed.
- Manages creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
- Solicits Implement dealers of all Ag Equipment Brands.
- Conducts sales calls on the road 3 - 4 Days a week and at least 1-2 days a week in the office.
- For each day on the road the sales agent conducts 4 or more F2F Stops and inputs each conversation into the CRM
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
WHILE YOU ARE IN THE OFFICE:
- Make 20 Outgoing Calls per day all of them logged into CRM.
- Route all sales trips in Mapping software and submit to your manager for approval.
- Make reservations for airline tickets, rental cars and hotels for all extended sales trips at least 1 month in advance.
- Log into the phone system and take inbound customer service calls for any territory and help the customer to the best of your knowledge.

- Six months to one-year related experience.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts and designs clearly.
