Salary range: $42,000 - $52,000, plus bonus opportunity

Requirement: Direct Experience is Shipping, Trucking, Logistics Mgmt.
Strong verbal and written skills; English / Spanish equally fluent.

Position: Customer Service Specialist / Coordinator

Responsibilities

- Coordinate bookings locally and internationally with Customers and Agents.
- Primarily focused on the USA / Caribbean / Latin American MARKETS.
- Create bookings with Shipping Lines based on Customer’s specifications.
- Ensure all documents from Customers and documents to / from the Shipping Lines are sent and received in a timely manner.
- Resolve Customer Service and Operational issues quickly and efficiently.
- Coordinate Transport and delivery of shipping containers throughout the USA.
- Provide loading guides and late gate lists to shipping lines timely and accurately.
- Prepare Bill of Ladings and send pre-alerts to Agents to assist in fast release of cargo at destination.
- Coordinate import shipments with Agents, Customers and Brokers to ensure fast delivery of cargo in USA.
- Reconcile vendors invoices with information in GDZ system and assist in accounting posting process.
- Assist in the filings of Rules and Rates with Federal Maritime Commission.
- Encourage team building in the office through cooperation and enthusiastic attitude.
- Support Finance / Accounting department when requested.
- Air freight logistics knowledge, a plus.
