Description
The raw material expeditor will be part of supply chain and planning.
The role is responsible for supplying production with the materials to complete the schedule set by planning manager.
Responsibilities:
- Supply’s manufacturing with raw materials using SAP Replenishment to Production tools
- Is responsible for inventory accuracy in the warehouse and production areas.
- Supports daily cycle counts with the warehouse team.
- Resolves any scheduling conflicts to avoid line shutdown and disruption in production
- Communicates changes from planning as needed to employees working the line.
- Is responsible for raw material change over and managing the return of goods back to the warehouse to its proper location.
- Transact material movements of grade A finished goods to the warehouse.
- Daily review of finished goods to ensure proper box count on each pallet based on customer spec.
- Supports receiving when needed.
- May be required to support project work in the evenings for short period time. Not often as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have at least a high school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role is required
- Ability to drive a lift truck
- Above average computer literacy
- Prior experience in SAP
