CONTROLLER
Job Summary
CFO Strategic Partners is seeking a full-time OR part-time hourly controller to grow our Controller team serving our clients. This controller will work with a variety of clients and report to the CFO from our team who is leading the client engagement. While each project or client needs may be different, in general, this position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting function for the company and assist in providing timely and accurate information to our CFO to inform and enable sound decision making. This role may manage accounting staff.

Responsibilities
Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions
Manage all aspects of the general ledger
Managing the accumulation & consolidation of all financial data necessary for accurate reporting
Coordinating the preparation of financial statements
Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations and implementing new processes
Management of accounting department staff
Monitor operating cash requirements and banking activity
Communicating operating and financial performance goals to CFO
Providing management with information vital to decision making process
Planning, organizing and coordinating the year-end close process
Provide support for the annual budget process
Coordinating activities of external accounting firm
Maintain adequate internal controls
Identify, oversee and manage insurance
Continuous training, & retention of competent accounting staff
Additional analysis on projects and expenses as needed
Qualifications and Experience
Accounting Degree
Minimum 7 years accounting experience
