Function: Human Resources Sub Function: HR Business Partner

Location: Piper Department: Human Resources

Sub-Function Description: Works closely with senior management in specific business units or regions to develop and implement HR solutions, predominantly medium to long term in line with business strategy. Has the support of Human Resources professionals specialized centralized in specific functions.

Organizational Impact: Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with limited impact on area. Delivers level responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Work consists of tasks that are very routine, or well-defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions. Work is closely supervised.

Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in related subject preferred or actively enrolled in school pursuing a degree.
  • HR Certification preferred (PHR or SHRM-CP or equivalent)
  • Experience working in HRIS (SAP, Oracle, ADP Vantage)
  • Minimum 2 years’ Human Resources experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications Required

The type of experience required to effectively perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex analytics, identify trend analyses and interpret data, driving business recommendations and deal with highly confidential information.
  • Understanding Federal and State employment laws to offer support and guidance to employees.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to easily build rapport with employees and team leaders of all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred

Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures

  • Recruiting, sourcing, staffing hourly positions as well as assisting in the maintenance of temporary labor.
  • Support onboarding of new employees by completing needed paperwork, employment verifications and background check processes.
  • Support the HR Manager and HR Director in managing Time and Attendance for OKC Manufacturing and other locations if needed.
  • Generate weekly labor tracking reports for the Finance Department.
  • With the direction of the HR Manager, conduct regular audits on employee information and files to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the continuous improvement of company policies and procedures and provide support to the Supervisors and Managers on site when they have questions.
  • Assists in the development of departmental goals, objectives, policies, and priorities.
  • Support the Site HR Manager in the annual initiatives such as the Benefits Open Enrollment, Employee Surveys, Performance management process, calibrations meetings and Succession Planning Reviews.
  • Provides support in coordination of employee events or other related activities.
  • Maintain employee files in accordance with state and federal law to ensure compliance.
  • Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers.
  • Any other duty as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
  • Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule.
  • Comply with all company and safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Certificates | Licenses | Registrations: Valid Driver’s License, HR Certification preferred (SPHR or equivalent)

Travel Required: Up to 10% travel, in support of corporate initiatives

Work Environment: Office, Distribution, & Manufacturing
