What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Strategic Accounts position at CFS Brands?
This is a REMOTE position based in Texas, responsible for developing business with new key strategic accounts and assisting in managing existing accounts. The key focus is driving new business opportunities, ensuring effective retention and fulfillment of existing business. Must be able to project manage large national relationships. Must be able to think creatively with a consultative mindset when dealing with strategic account growth for the company. Taking pain points from customers to develop new products while working with our engineering team. Position is authorized to negotiate and manage complex contract negotiations.
KEY RESULT AREAS :
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Discuss and develop business strategies with key strategic accounts.
Develop strategic sales plan to achieve top line growth that is specific to identified focused accounts.
Discuss and develop business strategies with End-Users that align to overall objectives / goals and have specific action items assigned with timelines of attainment.
Establish / develop and maintain relationships with Dealers / Distributors / Management / Reps / End-Users and other entities in each market.
Oversee, maintain, develop and grow existing business with key strategic accounts.
Develop a front-line relationship at multiple levels at key strategic accounts. Be able to target key Senior decision makers.
Develop a daily / weekly call list and maintain information accuracy monthly.
Utilize strong selling, negotiation, and presentation skills to develop and drive new business within the strategic accounts.
Diligently monitor new prospects / opportunities, budgets, sales in progress using forecasting / CRM system.
Communicate trends / pricing issues and other unique issues as it relates to sales.
Consult with end users and evaluate their needs.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.).
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
The type of experience required to effectively perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are :
A minimum of 5 years' sales experience with proven record of sales success and history of accomplishments.
Experience in contract management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface and sell at all levels of management.
Have a strong market presence and experience working in the industry. Having strong relationships with the major partners is preferred
Strong working knowledge of CRM systems.
Proven track record of developing relationships with clients, co-workers, vendors and business partners.
Ability to work independent of supervision and make decisions of wide variety and complexity.
Focus on the Customer - Forms active working relationships with customers by anticipating, analyzing, and responding quickly to opportunities, needs, and problems while aligning with prioritized areas of focus as it pertains to the region.

Be based in Texas and work remote, with 50% travel by air and car.

TRAVEL REQUIRED :
Up to 50% travel may be required by air and car.
Compensation & Earning Potential
This position offers an annual base salary with an uncapped earning potential. You will be eligible for a 2% commission on sales exceeding $1 million, with no limit on the total commission you can earn based on your performance.
